Steve Robbins, CFP® CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional Email As a Certified Financial Planner™ professional since 1985, Steve focuses on wealth management and individual retirement planning.  During his financial services career, he has built a reputation for integrity, honesty, and has become a respected leader among his peers.  Steve continually works to promote high moral and ethical standards in business.  He has been a member of the Financial Planning Association since 1987 and served as President for their Missouri/Southern Illinois Chapter in 1996 and 1997.  Steve is a member of the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce.  Steve also serves as Post Adjutant for VFW Post 3944, where he has been a member since 2009.

Steve is listed in the Registry of CFP^® Licensed Practitioners, the Practitioner Division of the International Association for Financial Planning and as a subject of biographical record in Who's Who in Finance and Industry.  Steve has been awarded the DALBAR Financial Professional Seal, a national award that recognizes financial professionals who have achieved overall excellence in the areas of client trust, financial results, quality of advice, and satisfaction.  The DALBAR Program measures clients' actual experiences with their financial professional.  Professionals who earn the DALBAR Seal have exceeded national benchmarks in areas of trust, satisfaction, quality of advice and financial results.  To qualify for the Seal, recipients also must meet standards of experience and maintain a clear regulatory record, as agreed to by the Securities and Exchange Commission.  Steve has been honored by St. Louis Magazine as a FIVE STAR: Best in Client Satisfaction Wealth Manager for each year from 2009-2019. Steve's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Missouri, which he attended on a scholastic scholarship.  After college, Steve served in the United States Army as an Army Captain and helicopter pilot, stateside and abroad.  Steve's military experience sharpened his work ethic, discipline and determination.  His leadership and ability to make astute decisions under pressure served him well during his six years in the Army and continue to serve his clients well.

Steve is very committed to his clients and to his community.  Much of his time is spent reading and researching the markets and economic news.  Steve also regularly gives his time and opens the office conference room doors to host events within his community and hometown of Florissant.  Steve is a proud and dedicated member of his VFW Post in St. Ann, MO, spending much of his spare time helping to lead and participate in Post activities and commitments.  Outside of the office, Steve enjoys running, traveling and outdoor activities.  He is a Certified Scuba Diver and utilizes this certification through travel when possible.  Steve is married and a proud father of two children.

Samantha Robbins, FPQP™ Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ Email Samantha is our Head of Client Services, supporting  in processing account-related requests such as contributions, withdrawals, beneficiary updates, address changes and new account paperwork.  In addition, Samantha works with Joan on planning events, client appreciation, and marketing.  Samantha graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arizona in May 2020, securing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology and Science alongside a minor in Marketing.  During her studies in Tucson, Samantha participated as a team lead for four years in a student-run computer science convention known as HackArizona, which became the largest Hackathon in the southwest division.

More recently, Samantha earned her Financial Paraplanning Qualified Professional designation to compliment her ongoing interest in the financial planning field. Whether this interest stemmed from her Dad (Steve!) or not, Samantha is eager to begin her career and aid in our growth!

Samantha appreciates time spent with her family at their lake house, where she spends weekend mornings fishing, afternoon hikes through the Missouri forests, and her nights next to a toasty bonfire relaxing with her dog, Max.

Joan Batisto Office Manager Email Joan is the team's manager. Her duties include answering phone calls, greeting clients, mailings, organizing events and client appreciation parties, and much much more!  Joan has lived in Florissant for most of her life, so if you need a recommendation she is your lady. She comes from a medical background having been an EMT for 23 years and also taught the EMT program at St. Louis Community College.

Joan has been married for 28 years with three grown children, one granddaughter, and a grandson. She enjoys as much time with her family as possible, walking, reading, sunshine, and beaches. The only other addition to her family is a 15 year old ball python named Serpente!

Sandra (Sandy) Grames, CCO Chief Compliance Officer Email Sandy Grames joined the Steve Robbins team as the Chief Compliance Officer.  Sandy’s primary duties will be to ensure that the firm complies with all federal and local laws as they relate to the financial planning industry.  This is not Sandy’s first time being a Steve Robbins team member, having served earlier in a marketing capacity! Sandy previously worked as a district manager for Humana Healthcare, and later held positions in employee training and Human Resources for a subsidiary of Blue Cross and Blue Shield.  She more recently retired from a local State Farm agency, where she served as a licensed insurance producer and customer liaison.  Sandy has volunteered with local food pantries, as a driver for the disabled, has prepared and served lunches for the needy for the Salvation Army, and has spent time as a mentor for a young adults’ group.

Sandy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Maryville University.

Sandy has been married to her husband for 33 years and has two grown daughters.  She enjoys spending time with her family, taking long walks, bike riding at local parks and on the Katy Trail, and playing with her dogs, Treble and Chicken.  She is excited about her new position with Steve Robbins, Inc., and looks forward to meeting his clients.
